The Call Of Duty Elite service that they offer customers has experienced problems from day one. While this is not unusual in itself, after a few days of release, the problems have not yet disappeared for some paid subscribers. Users have been unable to access Elite and this is causing much disappointment and inconvenience for them. Many of the state-tracking and community features offered by Elite are free to use, but there is also a premium version of the service. This gives users extra privileges, functionality and early access to content that can be downloaded. On the Elite website, Activism has admitted that they have been having problems with scaling the service in order to meet demands. Many customers are frustrated, and are turning to their other hobbies and playing games like PartyPoker Deutsch or Tetris online. Activism assures customers that they are well aware of the problems and are working non-stop to fix them. They need to identify what the specific issues are that are preventing their customers from using the service, and will do their best to resolve them as quickly as they can. Many players are said to be able to view their player cards and stats, but not their recent matches or career summary. This can be very worrying for them, but they have been assured that their gameplay data and entire careers on Black Ops as well as Modern Warfare 3 is stored safely and will become available to them again soon. These problems are not affecting Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer function, which users are able to take part in with few problems. Because of these problems, users are being given a free month of use and the deadline for 'Founder status' is being extended. |
